The Adilette Clog 2.0 is a cooler alternative to Crocs. Purchased for my 8 y/o Adidas shell toe lover to wear to and from practices: soccer, football, wrestling, jiu jitsu, and swim lessons. He needed an easy slip on/off to save his cleats from getting worn down by the pavement. We orginally tried slides, but they fall off frequently and we live in an area that experiences snowy winters. He thinks Crocs are hideous and asked why anyone would ever choose them. I found the Adilette clog with the shell toe and he was intestested. Unfortunately, he is a kids 3.5W and the clogs start at size 4 adults. They are much too wide and long and fall off of his feet when he walks. We settled for the Adilette 2.0 which lacks the shell toe (frankly this detracts from the cool factor), but it does have the backstrap which I convinced my son would make them much more functional. He was highly skeptical because of the Crocs look, but after using them once he was pleased. The size 4 doesn't seem quite as long as the original Adilette clog and the strap keeps them on the feet. I prefer the black in this particular style because it masks the odd, wide shape. Glad to find an easy closed toe shoe that aligns with his wardrobe.
